StoryPlus offers a family-friendly array of children’s stories. You can make use of our site in three ways: as a visitor; as a customer; or as a member.

As a visitor you can immediately begin downloading any of our free stories, in all available formats, without obligation. You can even mail these stories to your friends! You can also access our fact-filled library of literacy articles in the Building Reading Skills and Reading and Learning Disorders Sections.

As a customer you can purchase stories, or ‘bank’ stories for later purchase should you be in a rush in the ‘My Selection’ area. A record will be made of your selection, permitting you to visit the site at a later date to make your purchase. You have a month to download, print, view, or send any story you have purchased in advance. You may also deposit funds to your account in advance to expedite future purchases and to avoid paying any transaction fees (for purchases less than $5). In this case, the amount of your credit will always appear on the left navigation Bar under “My Account,” the instant you log in.

The first time you add anything to My Selection you will be prompted at New Customer Log On to enter a short profile. From that point on you will be able to log in, with your email address and password, at the top of the StoryPlus homepage.

As a member you immediately begin benefiting from discounts on stories and other StoryPlus products. Other membership privileges include the option to create a Family Portrait, where you can credit sub-accounts for your children’s personal use, where they won’t need to use your credit card. As a teacher you can register and receive special privileges at StoryClass

StoryPlus stories are classified by:

• Age Groups
• Genres
• Child's Interests
• Authors
• Story Titles

To select a story you can choose either one, or any combination, of the above parameters, but, at least one, and then click on search. (A pull down window will appear with each parameter you choose.) Within a couple of seconds - depending on your selection and the speed of your line - our search engine will retrieve a list of stories that matches your choice. info@storyplus.com

There are four formats in which you can receive your stories.

• Text Only
• Illustrated Text
• Animated Version with Illustrated Text
• Audio version with Illustrated Text
